Our models are constructed beginning with exact blueprints, most models are then carved by master craftsmen using select, specially treated kiln dried mahogany wood. After several stages of sanding and priming, artists hand paint and detail each model with historically correct markings. Finally, the model is given several coats of clear laquer, making each model a true work of art.
Some models are constructed from other materials when wood can not provide the structural integrity required or where the necessary detail can not be obtainable in wood.
Some part numbers ending with the following letters indicate model construction: W = Wood R = Resin P = Plastic
